PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

Gordon J. Mace has been active in industrial real estate in the San Fernando Valley for 45 years. He received his degree in marketing from San Jose State University. Gordon began his career in 1973 as the manager of the Ashwill-Burke Valley office, where he was the top producer for all eight years. For the next eight years, Gordon headed up his own company, Gordon J. Mace and Associates, before coming to Beitler Commercial Realty Services, where he has practiced real estate since 1989.

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

In his career, Gordon has been responsible for more than $100 million worth of real estate transactions. He has represented many major commercial companies in the San Fernando Valley. Another exclusive client, CatalinaYachts, is the largest sailboat builder in the world. Gordon has leased or sold Catalina Yachts over 35 buildings in the San Fernando Valley. During the early 2000s, Gordon represented many of the major developers, including the Voit Companies, Dunn Properties, and the Sammis Co.

EDUCATION AND AFFILIATION

Gordon is a past director of The Association of Industrial Realtors (A.I.R). He is active in many community organizations, including The Mid Valley Chamber of Commerce, The Mid Valley Police Council, where he served as president for 3 years, VICA, and The Rotary Club of Van Nuys. Gordon has been very active in the Rotary for the past 40 years and served as President of that organization from 1987-88. Gordon joined the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department 12 years ago and is currently an active Reserve Deputy Sheriff.
